July 4th has come and gone, which means the high school football season is right around the corner. On July 13th, the Greendale coaching staff hosted its annual linemen's camp down at Greendale's new turf field. This camp is designed for all offensive and defensive linemen and serves as a prelim to the up and coming season. "The whole concept of this camp is to give our guys a little extra technique time at their position." said Greendale's O-line coach Scott Bond. "This year we were lucky enough to get UW Whitewater's Line Coach Steve Dinkel who is a fanatic at what he does. After all, Whitewater doesn't enjoy the success they have been having without having coaches like him on the staff. He basically shows our guys some little things that at the end of the day can make the big things happen."

The camp was geared for all levels at the high school and was held for 3 days. There were about 40 guys that attended this year. After this camp is completed, the big all-position mini camp will be next.
