Farewell to the 2007 Graduating Seniors
The day was June 10th. The site was "Steven J. Gavinski Memorial Stadium". Normally football games are held here but not on this day. Instead it was used for a graduation ceremony for this year's graduating class of Greendale High. The Class 2007.
As a result of graduating, the Greendale Panther Touchdown Club would like to say farewell to 18 football players of this year's graduating class. Some will go on and continue to play in college while others will never play tackle football again. The one thing that all of these guys can take with them however, is a sense of pride, a sense of accomplishment and many fond memories that will last forever. Most of these guys who played for 3 years will take with them a combined record of 28-9. The 2005 team made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs while the 2006 team made it all the way to the State Division 3 Championship game in Madison. Hopefully what they have accomplished will inspire teams yet to come. They were part of a special bunch who will be missed this coming season. Thanks a lot you guys and good luck in your future endeavors.
